The Village of Surfside Beach Police Department is dedicated to delivering the highest quality service to ensure a safer, stronger community. Our mission is to promote a secure and welcoming environment through professional, ethical, and community-oriented policing, guided by our core values of honesty, fairness, and integrity.

Our department consists of ten full-time personnel—including one Chief of Police, one Patrol Captain, one Patrol Sergeant, and seven Patrol Officers. During the peak summer season, our team is further enhanced by eighteen reserve officers who join us to maximize public safety.
