Beach Rules at a Glance

  • Vehicles are allowed only on the drive-on beach (east of Highway 332).
  • The pedestrian beach is closed to vehicles (including golf carts).
  • All vehicles (including golf carts) must display an annual beach pass.
  • Speed limit is 15 MPH.
  • No fireworks and no glass containers on the beach.
  • Dogs must be leashed.
  • No camping within Surfside Beach city limits.
  • Please do not litter—use receptacles or pack it out.
